Signs You May Need Emergency Dental Care

- Severe Pain – this is a sign of infection that may require antibiotics as well as pain relief medication

- Accident – an injury to your mouth/jaw should be seen immediately

- Cracked or Chipped Tooth - it may not seem serious, but ignoring a small crack or chip in your tooth can create larger dental issues

- Lost Tooth – assuming it was a permanent tooth, there’s a possibility the tooth could be saved if seen in time.

- Excessive bleeding - this may be due to gum disease, an accident or any number of other causes

- Pus or Infection – this type of infection could actually spread if ignored

I had a great experience at Gateway Dental Riverside! The entire team was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. From the moment I walked they made me feel welcome and comfortable. The hygienist Claudia did an amazing job with my cleaning. Dr. Ajayi did an excellent job with my crown and took the time to explain everything clearly, and she does an excellent job administering the local anesthetic. And Daniela was wonderful throughout the process, she was super attentive and caring. I’m really grateful for the care and attention I received.
